i just came from england on weds visiting my gf and im completly lovesick lol. I spent 5 going out there but i want to get a cheaper flight than that. does anyone know any good websites with any amazing deals?

usually flights in this category cost around 300 or less, but now its 400 for the cheapest for a dec 18 – jan 2 flight. Why is it so costly now, and would I be better off waiting a bit to buy a ticket or just take the 400 one now. I’ve done this similar flight before for a 100 dollars less so I’m confused why it’s so expensive NOW.
just to add, the thing is i have flown this same time for about 4 yrs…with nowhere near the same fares. thats why i’m so confused. but i guess i’ll just watch and wait.

The reason why you’re seeing the prices increase for your specific dates is because you’re trying to fly during the busiest travel period of the year (the Christmas and New Years’ period). You will, in all likelihood, not be better off waiting to purchase your ticket — airlines realize that this is an extremely high-demand period and have little incentive to reduce prices.

Your best options right now are either to buy the ticket you want or see whether moving your travel dates a little will help. (I’d venture that the date that is causing your price to go high is the January 2 return date — a Sunday immediately following a holiday is usually very busy and more expensive. Moving that date to the 3rd, for example, might result in a lower fare.)

I’m planning to pierce my ears at least twice more, in addition to the seven I already have, but am also taking a long-haul flight early next year (UK to Australia). I’ve never had any real problems with piercings, aside from mild dermatitis, and just wondered if travelling abroad could cause any unforeseen issues?

uh, no. plenty of people with many piercings take long flights. the only difference of environment of a plane vs. ground level is altitude, atmosphere & velocity. i don’t see how any of those could pose a risk to body piercings.

I have been looking but i need to find a flight for July 10 or around that time to fly to Los Angeles, LAX from a city in Montana. If it is cheaper in one city, I will probably drive there, but I can’t find any flights that aren’t freaking 0.00 and i don’t really have any money.

in springs Delta, Continental have good bargains on airfares from Dallas, Atlanta, because is low season, better to purchase tickets around february, or one month early because you may save about 50% on a regular airfare by doing all using internet and purchasing e-tickets- Once in Rome get a good Hotel a 3 stars center city so you may go around easy from place to place and visits the best the city offer, from Rome you may purchase ready trips to go in Pompei, Island of Capri, Naples and Amalfi, or Florence, Assisi, just make a reservetion from the desk of your Hotel, it is very easy, the Bus come early in the morning to pick you up and then you go to Pompei and stay all day with a tour guide, interpreter, the cost about 100 $ but you have an organization that is very well runned and you are able to see more if you have a guide then if you do all this by yourself— If you wanto to go to see Capri please go, you will never forget, you are able to choose once at the Hotel, many offers, many prices, just keep Rome as base and then go around taking daily trip where you want. I do same thing alone or with friends every year, the Bus is very confy and I meet nice tourists from all over the world. Just search tours and travels and you can find a number of sites. But do not be too enthusiast as my experience says all offer same price though claim they are cheapest. You can get some discount if you get reserved more than one month earlier or if the flight is short of passengers and on last minute they are in search of them.
