@skaterprofessional Yes, Nok Air is a Thai company, however they had a couple of 737s that had just been painted up and were about to be delivered. They bought them from XL Airways. Nice to see the quirky livery.

@Aviationnation10 Hi, AA used to fly STN-ORD (O’Hare) in early 90′s before stopping the service. They then did STN-JFK (New York) which competed with EOS & MaxJet. Soon after both of those ceased trading AA again left STN.

  6. Aviationnation10 says:

where did AA used fly to

@BearsoNco Hello BearsoNco thanks for your comment. I wouldn’t say there was a lot of turbulence flying into London. But then it all depends on the atmospherics. The area around Stansted is low lying fields which from experience produces a lot less turbulence than flying into places like Scotland where there are frequent changes in the height of the land and a lot more showers. One of the worst places i’ve been was Chicago – T’storms are the worst.

  8. BearsoNco says:

Is there alot of turbulence when flying into london?

@Aviationnation10 Hello Aviationnation10 the airlie at 0:59 was Germanwings in the Park Inn Livery. Germanwings had a number of aircraft in different liveries and this was probably the most colourful, ever, anywhere in the world! I think they’ve since all been painted back in standard silver/yellow. Hope that helps

  12. Aviationnation10 says:

what airline is that at 0:59

Hello, you are correct it is a NOK Air Thailand 737-800. It was at Stansted just after having had the Nok Air titles applied, the plane was previously owned by XL Airways UK and was being delivered to Nok Air later after this arrival.

  25. prinzknoxville says:

isnt thsi a nok air from thailand at 3:09???

i think so but its not possible that a boeing 737-900 is flying to stansted
